On May 27, 2021, the organizers of Revolution Philadelphia visited a Neiman Marcus store in the King of Prussia Mall with megaphones and chants as part of the national pressure campaign to ban the sale of fur in retail stores. As activists picketed the store, they were surrounded by irate employees who were forcing them to leave. One especially incensed Neiman Marcus employee even tried to aggressively prevent an activist from recording the disruption. However, Philly activists made a bold statement: they will be back unless Neiman Marcus stops selling the skins of dead animals.
Revolution Philadelphia will continue to support CAFT in its campaign to ban fur in all stores around the US and plan to go back to the store with more local activists soon.
